Hire a Service Company or DIY?

We believe It is better to have us fix your well water problem than it is for you to do it on your own. Here are just a few reasons why this is so:

Last night we were talking to a friend who'd had no water. While I suggested that he contact us at ASAP for help, he went with his local, go-to plumber. A good choice, since we were almost an hour drive away from his house. However, even this professional had to rent a tool he needed to pull the pipes and the submersible pump out of my friend's well in order to fix it. My friend was out of water for several days because his plumber had to wait to rent the necessary tool. That tool was a machine that is known as an Up-Z-Dazy (see image below). It costs $3,000 to $5,000 to buy one. My friend's plumber had to rent one. Here at ASAP we carry one in our service truck for immediate service.

This example is just for one tool that is used when we have to pull pipes out of a well. There are dozens of tools used for a single job, from meters, to special wrenches – like the one that opens a water filter, to torches. Any or all of which you may need and we carry in the truck. And this is before buying the replacement parts, repair kit, motor, or pump you need to fix the problem. The next issue is how do you know what to get? How do you know what needs fixing? Yes, you can talk to the people at your local hardware or do-it-yourself store and take their advice... At ASAP we are specialists in what we do. We have the tools to figure out the problem and we will either fix or repair only what you need fixed to get your water system working again.

In the end, it will be faster, and less expensive, to hire us to fix your water than to try to do it yourself. You can watch us work; you can help us fix it. Our owner and serviceman loves to talk, and is more than willing to explain what's wrong and why – and it will still be less expensive and faster to call us in to fix your water issue.
